Abstract Aim The aim of this study was to clarify the significance resection ovarian metastases from colorectal cancer and identify clinicopathologic characteristics. Methods In multicenter retrospective study, we evaluated data on obtained patients at 20 centers in Japan between 2000 2014. We examined impact prognosis with prognostic factors. Results included 296 metastasis. 3‐y overall survival rate 68.6% for solitary metastases. all cases cohort, rates after curative resection, noncurative nonresection were 65.9%, 31.8%, 6.1%, respectively (curative vs [ P < 0.01] 0.01]). multivariate analysis factors, tumor size metastasis ( 0.01), bilateral = peritoneal pulmonary 0.04), liver remnant 0.01) statistically significantly different. Conclusion shown be relatively favorable as Stage IV cancer. Resection metastases, not only but also confers a benefit. Prognostic factors large presence extraovarian

In this study we examined the characteristics of women with colorectal cancer for whom synchronous oophorectomy had been performed. In this cross-sectional study, records of patients with colorectal cancer from April 1991 through October 1999 who had undergone surgery for ...
